Where the Trails and Trees Are – music for two-channel video/short film

The idea of home and a landscape relating to it was the catalyst for Tatu Heinämäki for producing a two-channel video artwork as a part of his bachelor's thesis to Tampere University of Applied Sciences. In its center is a character that has the ability to travel between memories, and thus in time. Solastalgia is a word used to describe the anxiety caused by change in a familiar landscape. It's mixed with wistfulness and memories of a place that never existed, at least not outside of our imagination.
